BPO / Call Center Signing Bonus non issuance <img src=" />

I was employed by a BPO recently but was fooled into signing up because of the signing bonus. I was told all the way up right before signing the job offer that I was eligible for a signing bonus but was not made to sign the signing bonus document itself. I am 2 mos. on the job, my previous efforts to ask for the signing  bonus was met with a firm NO. The company tells me it is not applicable for ex-hires / ex-employees. However, no written document was provided to me stating the same. I can present a copy of the "signing bonus" document and the same is also not stated there that ex-hires are not eligible.

Can anyone advise me of the best practical and cost effective legal action for this?

Thanks.

please provide the terms and conditions regarding your signing bonus. Is it attached to your employment contract?

@lukekyle
- they never made me sign it. they excluded in from my job offer / contract. i can get a copy though. they don't have control numbers on the document anyways Smile the signing bonus document itself doesnt clearly state that ex-hires are ineligible for the said bonus.

- they had the facebook ads like i posted and i got verbal confirmation, thrice, that I was eligible for it until i signed the contract itself. they basically hood winked me into signing up then withheld the signing bonus papers. the last verbal confirmation i got after signing my job contract was that they would "check" if i was eligible Laughing

Alarm bells should've went off during the employment contract signing when it wasn't made part of your contract. If you can identify those who told you that you were eligible for it, they can individually be made accountable. Around how much are we talking about?

@lukekyle - The HR Rep gave verbal confirmation before the actual contract signing but did not provide me the signing bonus contract and hasnt since. I have the names of the HR Reps that provided me the verbal confirmation, yes. The amount is the same as the one indicated in the image, 20k.

Any chance i can sue the company instead of the HR employees instead? Its just that the signing bonus contract doesn't specifically state any exclusion for ex -employees being eligible for the signing bonus. ill post the signing bonus contract in 2 days.

its possible if they are willing to sign something to prove that they have given verbal confirmation. the signing bonus contract doesnt do anything for you since its not your contract.
