Hi.. I would like to discuss the legal issues about blogging. I made a blog regarding my experience.
I am a victim of ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT and I made a blog out of it. I also posted pictures of those who recruited me. However the one who referred me to those Illegal Recruiters wanted to file a lawsuit against me. Because I also posted her pictures and her full name without her consent so she can contact me. First I doubted her because she was unable to reply for how many months and continue to ignore my messages. Not until recently when she read about the blog she was so angry and expressed filing legal complaint against me.
Is there a difference between doubting and accusing? Because she said I accused her of ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT. Am I legally liable if I post her pictures and put her full name without her consent because she thinks she was humiliated by this. Am I legally responsible for the blog but all I made was true.
Thanks for the help

yes, it is possible that she can charge you with libel if the blog is derogatory against her and she ca n be identified.

the usual defense in other cases is to claim that take it down and say it wasn't you who posted it in the first place. not sure if you can pull that off if you identified yourself to her.

righteousness requires the right action. hope you can resolve the matter without having to resort to litigation.
