Dear Sir,

Good day!
I'm Dai, currently working as an admin ass. in an online casino here in Pbcom Ayala Makati.

Our HR legal team was issued a letter to me which made me confused or violate my rights as an employee correct me if im wrong.. i just want to ask assistance or help if this issuance of letter coming from Hr legal team really legal or not..
this is the case..
every month if u committed 4 late they will first issue verbal warning then next month if u committed again they will issue written warning and the in 3 consecutive months if u committed late again they will issue Final warning. But in my case they issued Final Warning letter to me which i complained i told, Mr. Argel that why would i signed that Letter if there's no issuance of Verbal & written warning in the first place, which in fact the first 2-months will be forfeited cause there's no letters given to me. Please please help my case, hope u can enlighten me or solve my case ASAP.

thanks and God bless.

best regards,
Dai

What exactly are the procedural guidelines regarding tardiness that are stated in your employee's handbook? Were there additional letters sent to you by the HR team that were disciplinary in nature?

Right now, the internal rules and regulations found in your employee's handbook will serve as our basis if the HR followed proper protocol or not. Please state here as well the exact contents of the letter sent to you since it may be more than just mere tardiness if it is already a FINAL warning.

Make sure to make a copy of every letter you will receive from your superiors or HR, since they may serve as future evidence if there will be a labor case filed against your employers. Double-check every document they want you to sign, and make sure somebody who is on your side and knowledgeable with your company's protocols is present to peruse the documents as well.

If all else fails and you feel that your rights were trampled, please go to the nearest Regional DOLE office or the Public Attorney's Office and seek legal advice regarding your situation. Bring also the necessary documents regarding your case.

Good luck in your situation.
