One of my friend ask me for help regarding his Training Agreement with the certain company who offered Free Training Program in the premise that he has to join one of their vessel and render a service within three years or 4 contracts which ever comes first.
Having said that, my friend because of some personal reason he was not able to join and render a service after the training, it has been a year or more now. He wants to request to release him from the contract, would that be possible, what are the legal consequences in doing this?
