Training Contract/Bond

Hi. Good Pm. Would like to ask about law on training contracts for companies. In our company, our HR required the selected people to go on a Training for 2 Saturday session with 6 months bond. They require to signed the bond before the training. I was not able to attend the 1st session of the training since i was out of the country. They emailed us and asking me to sign my contract since their is still 2nd session of training. Is this legal? To require an employee? Without an orientation regarding the training, what will be it benefits to employees, without explaining anything to us? I just want to know my rights before they make me sign the contract. Thank you
