Good day po I am currently teaching in a private school and i plan to resign po.. But I have signed a letter of appointment but no contract .. The appointment letter ks renewed yearly (10months) validity .. May expiration ..I have been with them for four years and i am on a regular status already (but no contract).. Is there such thing po be na breach sa letter of appointment and does letter of appointment need to be notarized to ba valid? Thank you very much

the letter of appointment is the contract and it need not be notarized. if this is grade or high school, resigning during the school term or the life of the contract is prohibited and may open you for damages if there is no consent from the school authority. nevertheless, inquire with them regarding the policy regarding termination
