HI. GOOD DAY. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY CASE? JULY 9 I PAWNED MY RING IN PALAWAN PAWNSHOP AND I REDEEM IT YESTERDAY. AND WHEN I CHECK MY ITEM THIS MORNING I REALIZE, IT HAS SCRATCHES AND DAMAGES. WHAT SHOULD I DO? CAN I STILL FILE A COMPLAIN TO THE PAWNSHOP? BUT, THE DONT GAVE ME A RECEIPT FOR THE REDEMPTION. HELP ME PLEASE!

Well. Case can be filed against (almost) anyone about anything, but it's an other question if you will winn.
I don't know this law for the Philippines, but it's common the complain have to be done DIRECT when the item is handed over, because otherwice it can't be proven if the damage was made before or after it was given back.
So I suppouse it's waste to file a case,
but go to the shop and talk to them. Some shops assist some of goodwill reputation reasons, when it isn't clear if they did wrong, so it don't hurt to ask them. Perhaps they will suggest a compromise.

In the Philippines it's common that companies treat their employees bad, but I know Palawan Pawnshop treat them uncommonly good, so I suppouse they want to treat their customers good too. But they can't be to kind, because then to many customers would scam them.
