Lukekyle poses very good questions that must be answered. How did the credit corp know of your dad's name and how was he implicated in the loan? Was he related somehow as a guarantor of said loan? Normally, credit corporations don't go after people who are unrelated to the loan that they want to be paid, so there must be a reasonable connection between your dad and your GF's mother.
