[size=18]Black]]My application for divorce has been approved..Absolute divorce.. I am a neutralized British citizen.
My question is, what is the next step, pls., so I can be allowed to remarry in the future?[b]
Do I need to have court declaration so as to be allowed to remarry though am no longer a Filipino citizen?
Thank you very much po and God bless..

as a british citizen, only british laws on marriage will apply to you now. where are you planning to get married? if here in the philippines, you will need to provide a certification from the uk embassy that you are qualified to marry.

if your ex-husband wants to remarry, he has to file a petition to have the divorce recognized.

in my opinion, no you do not need to file any petition here in the philippines because you are no longer a filipino (unless you are a dual citizen).
