Good day,
My wife is a complainant of GRAVE ORAL DEFAMATION against our neighbor who insults her in a loud voice and many people around heard. this is the issue of "KALAGOYO OR IN CEBUANO TERM PAG PANGABIT DAW sa ako MRS doon sa anak niya" without any evidences showed. now the case formally filed under the Provincial prosecutor's office in Cebu, according to the court, the case is subject for mediation proceeding, and we are still awaiting the date of mediation.
my question is: 1. the mediation proceeding is required? 2. how many years imprisonment if found guilty by the court? 3. is there any monetary fine for this case? and how much?
