Hi,

The lady who processed the transfer of land title made a mistake in my last name on the land title for the lot my bf and I bought. She assumed we are married and put my bf as my spouse and me carrying his last name.

PLS HELP!!!!

Transfer of title entails the payment of taxes and properly signed and notarized documents. What you said was very interesting since a Deed of Absolute Sale must be executed even prior to payment of taxes.

Go to the Registry of Deeds, order a certified true copy of the title, and ask how to rectify that mistake.
