Quick Opinion.

Language from one year contract. See number 14. The penalty is capped at daily wage for each day of breach? Correct? No more or less. No other mention in the contract on damages, etc.

14. RESIGNATION. Should the EMPLOYEE decide to resign from the COMPANY, he shall serve the COMPANY written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to the effectively of his resignation. Failure to serve written notice shall render the EMPLOYEE liable for liquidated damages equivalent to his daily wage for each day of breach

15. AUTHORITY TO OFFSET. Upon his separation, termination or resignation, the EMPLOYEE hereby authorizes the COMPANY to deduct from his final pay such amount that the EMPLOYEE is found to have owed the COMPANY in the course of his employment.

Depending of how fast the employee can be replaced and how expensive equipment and such will not be in use a while because of the employee breaking the deal by quit to fast,
in many cases that's CHEAP
= DON'T cover what the company lose because of the employee.
