pwde ba gumamit ng sworn statement para sa death certificate?
kasi tatay ko namatay sa US at dito naman kami sa pilipinas...

the rule on death certificates is that the it should be issued where the person died by persons who have personal knowledge of the death. i recommend that you try to acquire a death certificate from where your father died. you can try to coordinate with relatives there or the embassy here.
