She applied in one of the big banks and got hired. We didn't declare our baby because of what discrimination she would face and the chances of her getting hired would be low if we would declare our child. 6 months probationary period before reularization. Around a month after her hiring date, a chismosa co-worker blurted out to the manager that she has a child. She was then forced by her whole branch that she should tell the HR or they would not let her do any work at all and that they wouldn't sign her regularization in the future. She confessed to the HR because of the pressure from her branch. HR then told her to resign or she will get terminated. She was forced by HR to sign the resignation papers (that the HR manager typed out for her). Is this all legal? Is that really a huge problem that she didn't declare her child? Is that enough of a reason for her to be forced to resign or to be even terminated? Where would RA 8972 fit here?
Thank you.
