Good day.

The building's allowed working ours for renovation is 8AM-5PM. Workers start banging on the walls at 8AM, sure. But the renovation of the unit below ours has been going on for 2 and a half months now. Actually we have two 1-bedroom units na magkatabi, "home" unit and "office" unit. Got around the disturbance by sleeping in the office, hinahanap na nga ako ng anak ko sa umaga. Until two weeks ago that they started banging a common wall that's really audible in the office unit's bedroom.

Here's the timeline:
3rd week - asked the admin about the completion date. They didn't know. Talked to the workers also, finishing na lang daw.

4th week - malapit na daw. It was around this time that I decided to sleep in the office instead.
...........  - still no definite answer
3 weeks ago - nag-i-install na lang ng mirror

last week - talked to the building manager, malapit na daw. Looked for the renovated unit's owner but apparently he's out of town at hindi na siya masyadong nakikita dito sa building. Though marami siyang units dito. This is also the time that lack of sleep for many days took its toll on me.

last Thursday - got the chance to talk to President of the building during the earthquake drill. Requested if they can ask the workers to start any banging or loud work at 10AM on Friday and Saturday since may long exam ko sa Saturday. Went to the admin's office to confirm. The building manager doesn't seem like the idea kasi sayang ang pasweldo sa mga karpintero, I'm not sure if that's what the owner really said. The owner by the way is the director of the board. My humble request wasn't granted. Oh well.

I know sleeping early would solve the disturbance in the morning. But I still have things to do at night and I am a bit of an insomniac. Sa hapon naman, hindi ka makapagsiesta or makapag-concentrate sa work or studies kasi maingay din. The situation is starting to really piss me off na nakaka-high blood na.

Any legal way to get around this? I'm humbly asking for your advice. Thank you.
