Hi,

We've rented a condo for a year and the contract ended last May 2015. As of this writing, we still haven't received the security and 2 months deposit. The broker is asking us to wait until the new renters sign the contract which is fine by us. However, she also mentioned that the cost of the re-painting of the condo will also be deducted from the deposit. According to her, it is done on a yearly basis. So, I've checked the part of the contract that indicates the re-painting (please see attached image) and from what I've gathered, we are only responsible for re-painting if paint has been damaged. It was newly painted when we rented it so it is still in good condition. My concern is I don't know how to refute her claim so we can still refund the entire amount.

I hope someone can help. Thank you in advance.
