My partner went to get a NBI clearance and was told they can’t give her a certificate as someone has the same name as she has. Then told to return in august 3 to get it. Why oh why if you have a passport and birth cert it is obvious that they people are different registered people. Don’t they understand it may be possible that there might be two people of the same name in the world? We need it to attend here CFO seminar and get her cert of attendence.as her visa will run out in August. Is there something we can do?

There's a lot of same name yeah even a last name. If your partner want to return meaning he have a same name into another person that there's an issue. It can be a crime so they need to investigate.
