Good day,

I would like to seek clarification if this sanction is legal:

An employee was suspended by the company and advised to work without pay. The sanction is not based on any written or documented rules by the company and just being implemented verbally with out proper notification to employees.

If illegal. what article covers this concern.

Thank you!

It may be illegal because there is no law or provision allowing it.

Thank you Council!
May I know what labor code article covers "work without pay" or similar to the above issue?
