Arresto Menor

Hi.. I'm currently 5 mos. pregnant and was advised by my doctor to continue bed rest due to my low-lying placenta. I advised my immediate superior if I could take a leave for around 2 mos. until my next ultrasound. I inquired if I could take leave without pay since I have already exhausted all my leaves. She advised me to talk to the management if this will be allowed. I asked permission from the management however I was advised that there is no such thing as an "official leave without pay" and was told to that it's either I continue to work and follow office policy and risk the health of my baby or I resign for the safety of my child. Is this legal under the labor code?
Hoping for an advise. Thank you..

get a certification from the doctor of your medical condition, and give it to your HR. keep your communication that you respectfully refuse to resign in writing

yes, there is such a thing without pay, but it is based on consent by both parties. if you decide not to go to work, imo, it will be unlawful if you are terminated.
