I need legal advice on my retirement plans.

I'm an employee of a Philippine based company. I was seconded 2.5 yrs ago to the regional company. The terms of my contract with the host regional company is silent on retirement but my home company's policy for retirement is clear. Employees can opt for early retirement as long as they serve a minimum of 5 years. I plan to retire after serving for 10 years. Can I do so while still seconded to the regional company?

Yes, advise the main (PH) company about your intention to avail of the retirement benefit. They should coordinate with the regional company to settle the process.
