Redundancy letter but no proof or criteria

Arresto Menor

Hi friends,

On the claim of rationalizing and simplyfying its business processes (as stated in the redundancy letter), my brother was dismmissed from his job.

Although he was given a one-month prior notice, he wasn't given the following:
1) Fair and reasonable criteria in selecting employees to be dismissed; and
2) adequate proof of such redundancy.

His redundancy already took effect yet the documents above were not provided. He was also informed verbally that all Secretaries (his position) will be served a notice of redundancy, however, this did not happen.

Is this enough reason to file a case against the company?

Thank you very much to those who can answer my queries.
