hi atty. it's me again.here is another problem.my sister had been approved for migration then she likes me to be petitioned soon.i am using my maiden name in all my public documents.am a government employee.but my sister declared my status as married. can i just declare that i am unemployed so not to complicate the papers that the embassy will be asking me like the marriage contract etc.?thanks again...

i'm not very familiar with how embassies evaluate documents, but of course if they find any discrepancies, they may reject your application. i recommend you declare yourself married because that is the truth. good luck.
