Is a notarized agreement enough to protect myself in the future?

The profit sharing is a long term type or can I say lifetime.

What if the man signed that I agreed with died?

Profit sharing of what type?

If business - what type of business form? Sole P businesses "die" when the owner die. I don't know if a profit sharing deal can follow the assetts if they are sold together.

The LAW have max allowed time limit for some types of deals (e g 10 or 25 years)
