Arresto Menor

Hi po, I'm working here in Makati City for almost 11 months, last 2 months I decided to submit an Intent Letter requesting for transfer in our company at Davao branch, my concern is that if ever they would approve my request to be assign in Davao my basic salary rate will be provincial rate due to the area. Is it legal to reduce my current salary rate just because I will move to a provincial area?

Please please help. . .thank You. : Question

As far as I can recall, the transfer of personnel to areas outside the NCR shall not be a valid ground for the reduction of the wage rates being enjoyed by the workers prior to such transfer.
