Company Site Transfer

Good day.

Itatanong ko lang po sana about sa Company Site Transfer.

Within this year, naka schedule na ang company(Electronics) namin for Full Transfer from Taguig plant to Laguna plant (new Building), Lahat po ng machines, paraphernalia and offices ay for transfer sa Laguna. Under new management napo kasi ang company namin.

As per our previous company Director bago pa sya magresign, lahat ng empleyado na gustong sumama sa laguna ay for Retrenchment/rehire or babayaran sasama man o hindi.
Same sa previous na ginawa sa kabilang area (partial transfer) na lahat ng hindi sumama sa Laguna ay binayaran ng 50%.
Mostly sa amin ay nasa 5-25 years length of service na.

Since new management na ang company namin, may unofficial information na maaaring walang maganap na retrenchment/rehire or bayaran mostly sa mga hindi sasama.

Ano po ang laban namin kung sakali hindi kami sasama sa Laguna?
possible po ba na bumagsak lang sa forced resign ang 20 years kung serbisyo sa company?

Can you make it clear if this is just a company transfer, site to site or change of company?

Usually site to site transfer, ie ABC Electronics moving from Fort to Laguna, no change in company would only pay workers if they don't want to transfer. But if ABC Electronics will become ABCD Electronics, it is change of company and that's when they pay the workers because the old company is gone.

Thanks for the reply. Site to site transfer po. Same name but diff. management. Before its ABC Electronics, Now its ABC Electronics "A member of ABCD group of companies.

so meaning, our company is obliged to pay us if we don't want to transfer to Laguna. Anong batas po kaya pwede namin gawing basehan?
