Good day!

Just wanna ask if ang irrevocable resignation ay pwedeng idenied ng previous employer ko?Di ko po kasi naasikaso ang quitclaim and release ko.Nag-iwan lang ako ng irrevocable resignation letter pero nung aasikasuhin ko na yung certificate of employment ko AWOL daw po ako at ayaw nila akong bigyan ng COE. Would it be their reason??

Hoping for your reply. I just can't think enough now because of that.

What was the reason for your irrevocable resignation? Did you indicate the exact reason for this? There are only around 4 reasons to allow an immediate and irrevocable resignation.

Without these 4 reasons, the Labor Code requires 30 days notice.

Lack of this, and no approval of any earlier resignation date would cause you to be considered as AWOL.

Secondly, kung hindi ka pa cleared (as you said, di naasikaso ang quitclaim, etc) pwedeng hindi ka bigyan ng COE dahil hindi pa tapos ang pag-asikaso mo ng papeles.
