I will assume that you are not married, if that is the case, you have the full parental authority over your child. Pero kung ipagkakait mo ang bata sa ama nya, maaring mag-file ng petition ang ama para ipaglaban ang karapatan nya sa bata.

Hi Ladycrest, since your child is below 7 years old, under the law, ikaw yung may right to have custody over him/her.

In addition, you also have the right to ask for child support from the father of the child if he recognises him/her as his son/daughter.

Hi Thank you for the responce!. Yes po i am not married and naka apelyido sa ama niya ang bata. Regarding the child support even hingian ko siya hindi naman xa nagbibigay. All of my son needs ako lahat ang nagprovide simula ng baby pa xa hanggang ngayon na nag aaral na siya. So kung gusto niya po ba ilabas ang bata kelangan may concent ko muna hindi pwedeng basta basta niya kukunin.

Ok, so I am assuming na nakapirma din sa birth certificate ng anak mo yung ama?
As a matter of right, you can ask for a child support from the father. But you have to follow a certain process which requires the assistance of a lawyer.

That is right, kailangan man consent mo kung gusto niya ilabas yung bata, especially if yung travel is going out of the country. Pag travel abroad, kailangan written consent mo.

Yes that's also right! nakapirma ung ama niya sa birth certificate. Regarding po visitation rights who is allowed to visit my son? like lolo,lola, auntie etc on his side? should i or should i not allowed who is not nearest kin of his family?

Ok, then you can demand for child support from him. With regard to visitation rights, it is the father who has the right to do that. But, if you will allow the grandparents and other relatives to visit, then walang problem dun. Nasa sa'yo na yun. Pero yung father yung may right talaga.

Do you mean when it comes to visitation rights ung father niya ang magdecide kung sino ang gusto niya isama without me knowing? For example he wants to come over with his girlfriend?.

Im sure your bf will not do that, bringing his GF in you house. pero if he will take the children out for a shopping or outdoor activities, IMO that is fine, as long as it will not jeopardize the kids.

No, what I meant was, depend sayo kung sino ang papayagan mo na magbisita sa anak ninyo. Pero you cannot deny the visitation rights from the father. Smile
