Hi,
I am thinking about filing a complaint against my neighbors. I live in a subdivision but it's kind of informal...it's not even safe and we don't have a security guard. But it is a subdivision.
We have neighbors that are kind of informal settlers but I heard they were boarders. They live "over the bakod" so it's not like we can just go next door and talk to them. Anyway, I used to be able to tolerate their loud karaoke singing because it wouldn't happen so frequently. But now it's gotten much worse.
We actually know the woman who owns this "boarding place" and she's nice and it seems like she got them to turn it down when we talked to her. But now there are times when they don't care anymore just because someone has a birthday.
I talked to the Barangay Captain and he said that we have to let people do karaoke if there's a celebration, but that it should stop at 10 pm -- which they frequently violate.
Well, it's just too much now. Just today there was a birthday and two videoke players were playing simultaneously -- so inconsiderate! -- and I had to sleep in my parents' room because I slept late and my room is right where the noise hits.
I heard about filing a complaint, but what are the possible outcomes of this? I don't want to do that and then have nothing good happen.
