Hi, I just want to know if it's necessary to cut trees during road widening. Yung trees kasi nasa tabi ng daan siya, in which point meters away sa mga private property(rice fields). and in my 18 years of existence, wala pa namang napapabalitang accident dun sa lugar na yun.If I'm not mistaken, road widening is for traffic safety and convenience, isn't it? At sa lugar na yun since province siya, most of the people ay 2-wheeled vehicle lng ang gamit at mga tricycle siguro 1% lang ng population ang may 4 wheels, ang road is enough or rather more than enough to cause traffic and it is more than convenient para magkaroon pa ng road widening. At ngayon nga, they've already cut 300 trees and people in our place were whining around. I want to know if it's necessarry to cut trees in that road widening. We don't know who's responsible for it, is it the DPWH? DENR? Or the Local Government? And our local government is denying it, particularly our mayor. Sabe niya, they have nothing to do with it, even them, were saddened by the sudden cutting of trees kaso wala daw sila magagawa. I don't know, di ko kasi alam ang due process. Can you clarify it to me? Because if we're wrong then maybe I can help minimizing the commotion. I want to know kung pwede ba naming ipetition ito or rather minimize ung ginagawa nila kasi we're talking about environment here, at ang road widening is harming it. Siguro naman po, di naman ganoon ka'applicable ang road widening sa province kasi mas applicable sia sa manila na sa inaraw araw ba naman ay traffic.
