Changing Decision of the court about Support

Arresto Menor

Hi~ Sorry I'm still a student and I found a question and was utterly stumped by it.

If for example, the mother of the child petitioned for pendente lite and it was granted by the courts. It was decided that since the mother was proved to be the richer out of the two parents, the father would give 20% while the mother shall contribute 80%. After a few years, the mother suffered a financial problem while the father's income had a boost so now he is richer.

Is the Court's decision final and executory? If so, then how should the parties proceed?

And if this event continuously occurs every few years, how to handle it?
