oh, you really meant fixation? i thought it was meant to be vexation.

please be more specific. what are these superiors doing? it may amount to what is referred to as constructive dismissal.

hi sir. my inquiry is somehow related to this. can i consider not being promoted as constructive dismissal? more than two years ago, there was already a verbal agreement that i will get a promotion. though i do not have any document to support this.

unfortunately, there has been a change in management. the manager who was previously recommeending me for promotion already resigned, and the new manager is not able to justify the credits of my contributions. until now, i do not get the promotion they promised.

objectively, i have all the qualifications enough to merit a promotion: master's degree, years of experience, significant contributions that are also recognized by foreign counterparts, etc.. despite all these, the management still refuse to give what i believe is fair to me.

too bad for me, i could not resign due to a bond contract.

i'm afraid that is not cause for declaring yourself constructively dismissed.
