Hi!

I would like to ask if we can sue our company regarding holding off our annual appraisal? It is written on our contract that we will have annual appraisal based on our overall performance. I have been with the company for 2 years now and is expecting to have an appraisal this year since i excelled last year. Last February (or March) of this year I already signed papers regarding my appraisal and our supervisors had signed it too already. Its been months now and we haven't been appraised yet. Now they are saying that there will no annual appraisal anymore. Can they really do that? I mean maybe moving forward but can they really stop the pending appraisal that we're suppose to have this year, esp given the fact that it had been "approved" already. If no, can we sue the company and for what exact violation would that be?

you said it's in your contract.. so you can sue them for breach of contract.
