Yes, absolute community of property will prevail. All property acquired before the marriage will be the property of each of them from the date they become husband and wife.

The property was acquired AFTER the celebration of the marriage, only that, the husband declared he is single. Nevertheless, the answer is still true. If they have no marriage settlement, then the property acquired after the marriage shall belong to the community property.

If they are governed by conjugal partnership regime or separation of property (by pre nup), then the husband may exclusively acquire the property especially when it was purchased with his exclusive money.
