Hi Pinoy Lawyers,
Appreciate your advise on this please. I am planning to buy a property from a widow, who is an American citizen. She acquired the property nung pinoy pa ang citizenship nya. Nakalagay sa title that she's a filipina and widow. Would there be a problem sa pagbenta nya ng property pag ganun? Anong citizenship dapat ang nakalagay sa deed of absolute sale?
Second question is that she has a son of legal age. Also an American citizen living in the US. Kelangan ba syang magsign ng any document, SPA or sa deed of sale mismo? What documentations do I need? Baka kasi later on maghabol sya.
