I would like to ask if I can file a counter charge against the mother who file a case against me in the barangay accusing me that I posted something in my fb account about her daughter. I did not post anything on fb, it's very malicious status like cursing her 8 yr old daugther. She brought a printed copy of fb status to the barangay captain and I just received a summon.
My lawyer told me not to admit anything, and to file a counter charge of libel against them.
Now, can they use that fb printed status against me to file a case of a child abuse?
May I also know what is the step of filing a libel case?
