TAX DECLARATION

hello and good day. I recently bought a land under CLOA. it was already 10 years since the CLOA and the lot can now be sold by the owner (let us name the owner MR. BARIO).

CLOA = Certificate of Land Ownership Award

here are the details:

-we have a deed of sale (signed by both Mr. Bario and I) when i bought the lot.
-I paid MR. BARIO's loan in the land bank (this is his supposed to be delayed payments upon acquiring of the CLOA land)
-MR. BARIO's CLOA certificate was not yet awarded to him and I am helping follow this up.

MY QUESTIONS:
-do I need to get/pay a tax declaration for this also?

-what is the purpose of a tax declaration?

-whose name will appear on the tax declaration? I think when the CLOA title is released, it will still be on the name of MR. BARIO and we need to have it transfered.

-what are the steps to following up a CLOA LAND TITLE?

- do you have any guidelines/steps on buying a lot/property under CLOA?

The (local) government will demand missing tax from the new owner (=you) if it isn't paid by Mr Bario. Concerning if you can demand it from Mr Bario, it depends of what your contract says.
