The illegitimate child's middle name is same as the mother

question po: I was born in 1991 and it is indicated in my birth certificate that my surname and middle name is the same as my mother's, which makes us look like sisters legally instead of being mother and daughter. my parents never got married and my dad has been dead for 10 years now.

i'm already 21 years old and i no longer want to change my middle name and surname since it is what is indicated in all my legal documents and i.d's

my question is: will it be a problem (having the same middle name and surname as my mother) if i want to go abroad someday? please, i desperately need your help.

The only problem will be when it comes to filling up the name of your parents you have to put your grandparents name or base it on your birth certificate. But if you are using your grandparents name all this time, then it shouldn't be a problem.

no, it is my parents names that are indicated in my BC, so that's what i'm using. and that's what worries me, that it'd ruin all my chances of going abroad and provide for my family just because of my middle initial.
