Hi po,

Gusto ko lang po magtanong regarding sa mga nangyayari sa office namin at kung may legal implications ba to.

We work for a BPO company, meaning ang client namin is from the US. Nakwento samin dati na nung ung client ang humahawak nung budget for the project, walang problema. Pero nung nag turn over na sa company namin eh dun na nag-umpisa ang pagtitipid.
First na nangyari, pinagbawalan kami na mag file ng overtime. Okay lang sana samin un kung hindi kami napipilitan na mag overtime. Hindi tipical call center ang trabaho kasi namin. Parang pinaghalong calls at back office ang work namin. Ang "orders" namin eh responsibility namin. Kadalasan, nag eextend kami ng oras dahil sa pinipilit kaming tapusin ang trabaho namin bago kami umuwi. Minsan naman sasabihin ng management na pwede namin ipasa ung trabaho pero wala namang mapasahan. Dahil dito, marami na ang gustong mag resign.
Kaso nga lang, may isang problema, on our hire date, pinapirma kami ng 1 year bond. Na pag umalis kami ng company, either voluntarily or by termination, magbabayad kami ng 100 thousand pesos sa company. So marami ngayon ang napipilitan nalang magtrabaho para lang matapos ung contract. Pero lumalala na ang nangyayari. Dati, tumutulong ang mga team leads sa trabaho, ngayon eh sila na ang dahilan kung bakit dumadami ang trabaho. Ayaw na nilang tumulong, sila na ang umiiwas sa pagtulong. Siguro kasi naisip nila na wala kaming choice kundi mag stay sa company dahil nga sa bond.

Ano po ang pwede nyong maipayo para samin?

if you are being forced to render overtime and not being paid eh valid grounds yan.. you can complain sa DOLE or you can resign sighting non payment of overtime.. it's not your fault.. so you are not liable to pay the bond..
