I paid an attorney to help with the filing for our marriage license. We did the marriage classes and had all the legal requirements. We were married in Dasmarinas. When we received the marriage certificate it listed San Juan as the issuing municipality not Dasmarinas. The marriage is registered with the NSO. When my wife went to the CFO seminar they would not issue her certificate of attendance because of this. What do we do now? And how do you appeal a decision of the CFO?

wait, marriage license and marriage certificate are two different things. however, it seems short cuts were taken and you are now in trouble.

a good faith solution is to seek correction of the entries on the contract.

a decision of the CFO is appealed to the office of the president, but they can be strict against such irregularities because of the fear of human trafficking.
