Good day Attorney,

Just want to seek legal advice on this predicament of mine.

I got married in 2008. After a year, my husband left for Singapore to seek employment. He eventually got employed. He seldom go home in the country but he was always supporting me finacially until November of last year. During our union, we never beget a child.

I have also lost communication with him since January of this year. I know where he is working and their address in SG.

Questions:

Can i demand for a support from him? How should i go about it? Granting, I will send him a demand letter for support, what if he would just ignore it, can i sue him even if he is overseas? Do our courts here have the authority to compel him to support me even if he is in SG?

I intend to write his employer to withold a portion of his salary to be deposited in my account, since I am entiled to that being his wife. Can i possibly to this? do you think this would work out?

what are the available remedies availabe in my favor under our laws?

Thank you very much in advance! Looking forward to your answers/advise on my queries.
