My previous employer didn't withhold any taxes from my salary.
I am a fix salary employee and above minimum nman po yung sahod..
dati po nag wi-withhold nman po daw sila pero during my time wala na..due to the fact na di daw marunong ung payroll in-charge mag compute..
I resigned November 29, 2012 and took effectlast December 29, 2012. I find a new job and got hired on February 14, 2013.Now, my current employer requires an ITR for hiring purposes.
I know my previous company violates the Sec. 80 of ,Chapter XVIII of NIRC.(am I right? )
Question: Should the company or me who will settle this to the BIR? If just in case I'll sue them, may laban ba ako?
April 15th is fast approaching. BIR penalties and surcharges are horrible..
Please advice.
