Last July 29, 2010 My brother had a shout-out
message about his teacher saying
"bkit kea ang mga teacher sa mundo naten
ang gulo ng isip!!! pagtahimik ung mga studyante sasabihian nila na "nu ba yan
magsalita nman kau prang wla akong
kausap eh" pagmaingay nman ito cnsabi "lahat dau minus 10 ang iingay nyu eh!!!
ewan gulo nyung mga teacher..galit kau lage eh
bahala kau maaga kaung mamamatay!!!

and then last July 30, I received
a call from my friend who is
a registrar at that school she said
that my brother had a guidance case
about his shout-out. I told her that I'm already expecting that because that night i
read his shout-out and one of his teacher
had a comment there saying "goodluck
sa inyong lahat ang tapang nyo ha
lalo kn". So I went there to talk to the
principal. The principal told me
that "Hindi tama ung behavior ng kapatid mo kc
lahat ng teachers nmin dito tinamaan
bkit cnbi nya mamamatay kaming lahat:
ganito-ganito I told her that it's a social
networking site mam
anyone can put anything there
that's my brother's point of view
tpos tinira na ung behavior. We accepted
the consequences that he will
apologize to all his subject teachers and then
a community service. Tama po ba ang ginawa nila
sa brother ko? How about the teacher
who post a comment to his shout-out
pwede ko ba syang pagsabihan bout this?
kasi prang pinag-iinitan na
ung brother ko. pwede ko ba syang
idemanda about this? thanks po

freedom of speech also means you have the responsibility for the consequences of such speech. being called out for the shout out, for me is not unreasonable.

as for the teacher's response, it may be better to file an administrative complaint with the principal. just keep your comments respectful even if negative.

I don't see anything negative about the shout-out and was not even directly made towards them. sifone

exactly that's my point! and after
we talked to the principal
she told me that 1 one day lng ang
community service but it was extended
in a week kc pag di pa daw kumpleto
ung clearance nya eh di pa sya pwede
pumasok sa class nya. I ask my brother
kung sino pa ang hindi nag-sign sa clearance
nya only to find-out that the said teacher
who had a comment on his shout-out
is the only one who's not signing the clearance
parati daw wla. wla o pinagtataguan lng
sya kc may galit tlga sya sa brother ko
I'm still not talking to
this teacher coz my brother told me
that he can still handle the situation
but I'm afraid that the
harrassment will still continue
if I will not confront him and also
I'm afraid na baka tlgang paginitan na
sya after tha confrontation. What is the
right thing to do and to
tell the teacher na ung tlgang
matatakot sya sa gnwa nya.
Thanks po for the help!
Thanks po

whoa, while i don't agree that your bro should be left unpunished, i don't agree that your brother should be prevented from attending class. suspension should have finite period and should not be left to the discretion of clearance.

is this high school? college?

I think this is high school as there is no principal in college.

I suggest you bring the matter to the attention of the school authorities.

Good AM! Mr. Wolverine last night
I talked again to my brother about his
school and then he told me that
his teacher want him to had a
public apology I told him ask your
teacher why you should have to apologize
in public for what? and besides
wala sa napagkasunduan un..Naiinis
na tlga ko sa teacher. What do you
think do I have to confront him na
or just wait for the right time pa kc
medyo mababaw pa ung reason eh
and ayokong patulan ung pagiging
immature nya. Thanks for the
patience!

In my opinion, that's too much as your brother had already serve his penalty. And how will the public apology be if I may ask? And what he/she intends to do next after your brother apologized publicly or not? In the meantime, just wait.
