May consult sana ako on employment contract. We had performance evaluation last Friday, included in it is the adjustment in my salary. However, I noticed that they also included the change in employment contract which states that the notice period for resignation changed from 30 days to 60 days. I find it unfair since my initial contract with them is only 30 days. I didn't get promotion nor sudden increase in my salary. The change in my salary is a regular increase. I don't want to sign the contract but I'm afraid that I will not get the increase.

In addition, they also included in it the changes they made on non-compete clause. They included vendors and partners.

Is it right to suddenly change the contract? Is it right to include the change in contract thru the salary change notice? I read in another forum that there should be 30-day notice and there should be agreement with the employee.

Can I get the salary increase even if I don't sign the Non-compete clause change and Days Notice on Resignation?

Please advise. Thanks!

if you are willing to risk losing the increase, write them a letter that you are not agreeing to the conditions.

or (but still risky) still write to them about not agreeing, but later give in, and you can argue that it was blackmail if they file a case against your for violating the non-compete
