A local retired attorney convinced me to put 2 hectare farm in his name, and then made 2 sets of documents, 1 with actual sales price, and 1 with much lower price. Then he made a fake lease contract for me. Then he asked for P30,000 for these fake documents.

I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. What can I do?

Are you a foreign national? If so, you cannot buy agricultural land as it is prohibited by the constitution.

What your lawyer is doing is finding ways to circumvent it. If you trust this lawyer you may continue doing so,but you are opening yourself up to a possible scam.

Are the sets of documents denominated as deed of sale? If so, the one with the lower price (undervaluated) may be used to pay a lower amount of real estate tax.

Have all Documents legaly NOTORISED, sign a Long LEASE, have a SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY in Your Name allowing you to sell the property. Ask for NON REVOKABLE SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY if thats allowed,
