hi.. need your advised. i am a single mom. i have a kid. yung birth certificate nya naka sign dun sa acknowledgement yung father ng baby ko. pero hindi sya napa notarized. anu po ang effect nun??? does it mean na invalid na yung acknowledgement ng paternity nya? ok lng po b kung hindi ko na lang pa notarized??? maraming salamat po.

Since both of you are not married, it makes your child illegitimate. And once in-acknowldge ng ama ang anak niya, apelyido parin ng tatay niya ang gagamitin niya. Unless magkaroon ng adoption in time..

confuze, that's unfortunate. if i were his lawyer, i would argue that it is not a proper acknowledgement because it was not notarized
