Hi everyone. I am currently teaching in one of the prominent universities in Manila. Currently on my 3 years and expecting a regular status coming this June. Office humors are telling that I will not be recommended for a regular status. Is that possible? Since I already finished 6 semesters ( 3years) is that not yet a ground for a regular status? Are there provisions from CHED? Please enlighten me. Thank you.

You cannot be regular unless you have a master's degree.

First, don't mind the rumors : ) Wait till you get hired as permanent(regular) or if you won't get the regular status.

But to answer your question, yes that is possible, that you may not be considered for permanent status which may be due to the following reasons, if you have not obtained a satisfactory performance or by failure to comply with certain standards as may have been made known to your before or during your probationary period.
