Contract Signing

Hi,

I just want to ask po. Sa contract po na binigay sa akin ng previous company ko po, is that "I am not able to work to a company with the same business type".

What if I didn't follow that contract at alam ko mali ako na pumirma ako noon kaso lang gipit lang talaga ako noon mga panahon na yun need ko talaga ng trabaho. Pero parang nakakadismayado kasi hindi ko makapag pursue ng gusto ko na trabaho. By the way po I am a Programmer.

Is there anyway po ba na to void that contract?

you can contest the contract naman.. unfair naman yata yung you can not work to a company with same business type..

kung di ako nagkakamali ang term sa ganyang part ng contract is "non-compete clause", wherein di ka pedeng mag-work sa ibang company having the same technology or product. but usually meron period lang na hindi pede, minsan 1 year minsan 2 years. meron pa nga minsan 6 months lang.

this is just to protect the current company for those who wish to transfer with the same line of business in divulging their "secrets". for example, if you work sa google, then possibly you cannot work sa yahoo.

i dont think na they could prohibit you from earning for yourself/family, kailangan lang alamin mo kung ano ang specific na detalyeng nakasaad sa contract mo.

Yes, Actually hindi po naka saad sa contract kung ilang taon / buwan / days and effectivity i think. Nakakadesmayado kasi wala akong copy ng contract ko. Ang naalala ko lang is hindi pwede magtrabaho sa current clients ng companya with in 2 years.

Pero sa issue ng Working with the same Business Type, hindi po naka saad.

clients naman pala.. eh di wag ka lumipat sa clients.. dami naman ibang work..

Hindi po.. bali two parts po ung "CNC". Yung same business type and existing clients.

Pero nag kaiba lang is.. ung sa clients may limitation for 2 years. Habang sa same business type hindi po nakasaad kung ilang buwan o taon.
