Seeking for Legal Advice - The Story

I am here in this forum to seek legal advice for a friend. Her mother recently contacted me and told me the details, being a student with no great knowledge about law. I came here to share her story.

Her father, as we may all call "batugan", he doesn't really do much anything to support his 4 children, two of which are female minors. His ex wife, not legally since they are not divorced, is having issues with women her husband is bringing home.

She really doesn't mind that, having she already found a new love. But the thing is, her husband is not supporting their 4 children. Today, as of writing this message, their house's electricity have been cut off since about 4 days ago. Their daughter, which is a very close friend of mine, is telling stories on how she hears his father have sex with various women. There is no doubt that these children despise their father.

I would like to ask what is the best thing to do? The mother is living and working outside the country, and she tries her best to support them.

They are legally married, but not divorced.

What the mother wants to do? File concubinage, Annulment or take the children away from the father?

The thought of taking away the children from their father crossed her mind. What can you suggest her to do?

Well, she have to show that the father is not a good influence to the children or the father is putting the kids on risk. If the father is really bringing other women in their home and having illicit affair, may be immorality can be used as a ground, or negligence perhaps. That depends on the evidences she can provide.
