Somebody asked me of what she can do with her situation:

She has been connected with Company A for 11 years, but this has been closed because of some issues and violations. The owner of the company established new company again under new name and she has been absorbed.
My friend at her age of 40 has no offspring yet because she is to focus on her work.
And because of that she decided to resign.
But the company did not give any benefits for her after serving eleven years.
Is she entitled for any payment?

Mandatory she will receive 13th month pay, tax refund if have, last worked days, SL/VL if its convertible to cash. Because she resigned voluntarily, she can not demand for a separation fee. But it depends on company policy. If the company has that program then she is entitled.

She cannot demand on a separation pay from Company A that has been disolved last OCt. 2011?

And after she has been absorbed in Company B(same owner) January 2012?
