Arresto Menor

Hello! My friend who trusts and would like to help PERSON A. Issued checks but left the dates blanks kasi aantayin pa niya ang pera na padala niya. But Person A deposited the checks thus my friend left but no choice but closed her account. Now Person A through her lawyer sent a demand letter used the checks as evidence for BP22 daw? Puwede ba iyon? Ayaw na ng friend ko magpahiram.
